Eric Giler, chief executive of US firm Witricity, showed mobile phones and televisions charging wirelessly at the TED Global conference in Oxford this week. He said the system could replace the miles of expensive power cables and billions of disposable batteries. Here’s an interview on how wireless power actually works.

Just got word that Apple has released Final Cut Studio 3. It contains new versions of Final Cut Pro 7, Motion 4, Color 1.5, Compressor 3.5, and DVD Studio Pro 4. Best of all it contains Blu-ray support…. Press release below;

The 12-inch CRT in the video below is believed to be the oldest working TV in the UK. To keep it operational it has been modified so it could be connected to Freeview. It is actually a projection (or reflection) TV with the main mirror mounted on fold down lid. Enjoy the video.
