In the three years since it first provided images of the sun in the spring of 2010, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) has had virtually unbroken coverage of the sun’s rise toward solar maximum, the peak of solar activity in its regular 11-year cycle. This video shows those three years of the sun at a pace of two images per day.
A demonstration of the nine-screen videowall CCFE has developed using a Raspberry Pi-based control system. It is controlled by one Raspberry Pi, with an additional Raspberry Pi for each screen. A low-cost flexible, versatile system for display screens, which can be used for screens of different size / resolution / orientation / manufacturer. Allows for creative display options including one image on the wall, single image repeated on each screen, fragmented images and more. Can display web pages, videos, photos and remote desktops in any mixture, covering all or parts of the same videowall.
